Marriage of Walenty Waligórski and Franciszka Deręgowska (1839)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Walenty Waligórski and Franciszka Deręgowska, from the Bytoń parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Świesz, 1839, No 18,
This happened in Bytoń, on the 2nd of November, 1839, at 12 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Szymon Stramowski, aged 30, the host, and Maciej Deręgowski, aged 24, a farm owner, both residing in the village of Świesz, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Walenty Waligórski, aged 21, single, a shepherd residing in Świesz, the son of Tomasz and Magdalena Waligórski, born in the village and Parish of Synowice – the Grand Duchy of Poznań,
and Franciszka Deręgowska, aged 22, single, residing in the village of Świesz, the daughter of Szymon and Helena Deręgowski, born in the village of Świesz – Bytoń Parish.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Bytoń Parish Church, on the 13th, 20th, and 27th of October, 1839. No impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Kożuchowski, Pastor of the Bytoń and Civil Registrar.
