Baptism of Marianna Tobiasz (1846)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Marianna Tobiasz, from the Kościelna Wieś Parish.

Krotoszyn, No. 37, 1846

This occurred in the village of Kościelna Wieś, on the 31st of May, 1846, at 2 a.m. Stanisław Tobiasz appeared, aged 46, a laborer residing in the village of Krotoszyn, in the presence of: Julian Zdziechowski, aged 30, a brewer, and Augustyn Kościołowski, aged 30, a laborer, both residing in Krotoszyn, and showed Us a female child born in Krotoszyn, on the 30th of May, 1846, at 10 p.m., to his lawful wife Petronella nee Lewandowska, aged 37. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Marianna. The Godparents were: Julian Zdziechowski and Katarzyna Srebna, a laborer residing in Krotoszyn. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
