Wloclawek Archives Digitalization Initatives

Hello,

I’d like to share some good news from the Włocławek Archives (which is a branch of the Toruń Archive) website’s news section. The news is relatively old, but the information is still valuable to share. According to the news article called, Podpisanie umowy na digitalizację akt metrykalnych, the Toruń and Bydgoszcz Archives are working with a digitization firm called Digital-Center to scan the Włocławek archive records (along with their other archival branches). The records contain both Parish and Civil records. The project should be finished by April 30, 2015. I would assume that the records would be shared with Poland’s archival resources online project, called szukajwarchiwach.pl.

Researching the Polish Archives is getting easier everyday.
