Marriage of Franciszek Słowiński and Katarzyna Czerniejewska (1826)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Franciszek Słowinski and Katarzyna Czerniejewska, from the Bytoń parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Oszczywilk, 1826, No 3,
This happened in Bytoń, on the 29th of January, 1826, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Andrzej Słubicki, aged 23, a farm owner, and Józef Gawroński, aged 50, a farm owner, both residing in the village of Oszczywilk, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Franciszek Słowiński, aged 20, single, a journeyman blacksmith, residing in the village of Morzyce, the son of Szymon and Jadwiga Słowinski, born in the village of Bochlewo – Kazimierz Biskupi Parish,
and Katarzyna Czerniejewska, aged 20, single, residing in the village of Oszczywilk with her family, the daughter of Piotr and Petronella Czerniejewski, born in the village of Oszczywilk – Piotrków Kujawski Parish.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Bytoń Parish Church, on the 8th, 15th, and 22nd of January, 1826. No impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Kludziński, Pastor of the Bytoń and Civil Registrar.
Rev. Bróżdziński, Dean of Radziejow
