Portage County Genealogy Research Group

Hello,

A few weeks ago, I had the honor to have joined a Portage County genealogy research group. I have posted a link to the research groups website on my blog, http://www.bigalke.biz/. This group has members who excel in different aspects of Portage County and Polish genealogy research. A couple weeks ago I was able to meet with Susan Chapman who is the host of the group website. Susan gave an overview of the functionality of the TGN software and an overview of the group,, along with the research speciality that each member posseses. Another member that I have met and interacted with is Jane Rock Costanza. Jane has traced her family from Portage County to the Leszno Parish area of Kaszubia, Poland. I am excited to be part of the group and I hope to be a valuable addition to the team. Susnan and Jane have been great and I look forward to working with them.

I still need to upload files to the Wierzba section of the website. I have lots of files and I will chip away at adding them. Lots of work to come!!!
