John Yach
John Yach of Hatley, aged 81, a former resident of the town of Sharon for more than 50 years, died at S o’clock Saturday evening at the home of his son. Peter Yach, at Hatley. He had been ailing for some time.
Mr. Yach came to the country from Poland, his birthplace, when he was 12 years old and his parents settled on a farm near Ellis. His marriage to Frances Szalewski, of the town of Alban took place when Mr. Yach was 30 years old. Following their 50 years of residence in Sharon Mr. and Mrs. Yach lived at Hatley for four years. Mrs. Yach passed away in April and since that time Mr. Yach had made his home with his son.
Mr. Yach was the father, of 13 children, two of whom preceded him in death. The surviving are: Max, Sharon; Peter, John and Mrs. Michael Ostrowski, Hatley; Victor, Milwaukee; Bernard, town of Dewey; Leo, 300 North Illinois avenue, city; Mrs. Nicholas Wiczek, Custer; Mrs. Andrew Miloch, Superior; Mrs. Barney Omernik, Amherst Junction; Mrs. Frank Zaborowski, Mrs. John Prybyszewski and Mrs. Regina Laszinski, Chicago. Mr. Yach also leaves one sister, Mrs. John Bushman of the town of Sharon.
The funeral will be held at 9 o’-clock Wednesday morning at St. Florian’s church at Hatley and interment will take place beside his wife in the parish cemetery.
