Baptism Marianna Nowak (1834)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Marianna Nowak, from the Byczyna parish.

Bodzanowo, No. 43, 1834

This occurred in the village of Byczyna, on the 19th of October, 1834, at 12 p.m. Jan Nowak appeared, aged 30, a farmhand residing in the village of Bodzanowo, in the presence of Jan Gryszka, aged 50, a farmer residing in Bodzanowo, and Jan Sporek, aged 52, the Mayor in Bodzanowo, and showed us a female child born in the village of Bodzanowo, on the 18th of October, 1834, at 5 a.m., to his lawful wife Justyna nee Robaszewska, aged 28. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Marianna. The Godparents were: Józef Tobiasz and Ełżbieta Sporek. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
