Baptism of Franciszek Nowak (1827)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Franciszek Nowak, from the Byczyna parish.

Bodzanowo, No. 34, 1827

This occurred in the village of Byczyna, on the 9th of September, 1827, at 10 a.m. Jan Nowak appeared, aged 30, a farmhand residing in the village of Bodzanowo, in the presence of Grzegorz Małkowski, aged 60, a farmer residing in Bachorna, and Jan Gryszka, aged 46, a farmer residing in Bodzanowo, and showed us a male child born in the village of Bodzanowo, on the 3rd of September, 1827, at 3 a.m., to his lawful wife Justyna nee Sobek (should be Robaszewska or Robaszek), aged 35. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Franciszek. The Godparents were: Paweł Barszczak and Marianna Chałaska?. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
