Baptism of Agata Deręgowska (1850)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Agata Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Palczewo, No. 16, 1850

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 23rd of February, 1850, at 4 p.m. Maciej Deręgowski appeared, aged 40, a farm owner residing in Palczewo, in the presence of Jan Sekuła, aged 50, and Marcin Głowacki, aged 33, both are farm owners residing in Palczewo, and showed us a female child born in Palczewo, on the 15th of February, 1850, at 9 p.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Pietrasiak, aged 30. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Agata. The godparents were: Marcin Głowaki and Wiktoria Przybysz. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
