Marriage of Maciej Deręgowski and Wiktoria Pietrasiak (1836)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Maciej Deręgowski and Wiktoria Pietrasiak, from the Piotrków parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Palczewo, No. 24, 1836
This happened in Piotrków, on the 22nd of October, 1836, at 9 a.m. We declare in the presence of Błażej Banasiak, aged 40, a shepherd, and Mateusz Kubicki, aged 56, a builder residing in the town of Piotrków, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Maciej Deręgowski, aged 22, single, a farmer residing in Palczewo, the son of the late Szymon and his widow Helena Deręgowski nee Kolenda, born in the village of Świesz,
and Wiktoria Pietrasiak, aged 18, single, residing in the town of Piotrków, the daughter of Jan and Marianna Pietrasiak, born in the village of Połajewo, where her family resides.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the parish church, on the 2nd, 9th, and 16th of October, 1836. Oral consent was provided by the newlyweds family that were present. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Tomasz Tomaszewski, Pastor of the Piotrków Parish and Civil Registrar.
