Baptism of Jan Bielawski (1881)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Jan Bielawski, from the Bytoń parish.

Niegibalice, No. 77, 1881

This occurred in the village of Bytoń, on the 1st/13th of October, 1881, at 10 a.m. Józef Bielawski appeared, aged 53, an attendant residing in Niegibalice, in the presence of Antoni Bielawski, aged 23, and Tomasz Borczak, aged 42, both attendants in Niegibalice, and showed us a male child born in Niegibalice, on the 28th of September/10th of October, 1881, at 8 a.m., to his lawful wife Michalina nee Nowakowska, aged 29. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Jan. The godparents were: Antoni Bielawski and Nepomucena Szimelfenig. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
