Baptism of Zofia Deregowska (1891)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Zofia Deręgowska, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Piotrków, No. 138, 1891

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 20th of October/1st of November, 1891, at 2 p.m. Wincenty Deręgowski appeared, aged 56, a laborer residing in the village of Piotrków, in the presence of Jakób Janczmiński, aged 63, a stone mason, and Franciszek Ziemecki, aged 61, a miller, both residents of the village of Piotrków, and showed us a female child born in the village of Piotrków, on the 11th/23rd of October, 1891, at 6 a.m., to his lawful wife Zuzanna nee Gorzycka, aged 38. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Zofia. The godparents were: Marcin Szczuciński and Zofia Odważna. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
