Krzymianowski Ancestry
Hello,
Recently, I ordered the SS-5 application of Regina Skrobiszewski nee Krzymianowski. Regina was the daughter of Franciszek Krzymianowski and Jozefina Derengowska and was born in 1905 in Poland before arriving in America. I did this to obtain a place of birth and pinpoint the location that the Krzymianowski family had come from. I had ordered an electronic version, although I now see that I should have ordered an actual copy of the application.
Below are the hints that I have been able find about the Krzymianowski family’s origination:
1) St. Adalbert’s Parish marriage record indicates that Władsław Krzymianowski (a possible Krzymianowski brother) was baptised in Piotrkow.
2) Wanda Krzymianowski’s St. Adalbert’s Parish baptismal record indicates that her parents Franciszek Krzymianowski and Józefina Derengowska were from Gubernia Warszawska.
3) Regina Skrobiszewski nee Krzymianowski’s SS-5 application (electronic version) lists her place of birth as “PITROKYJAWK”, could this be “Piotrkow, Kujawski” ?
4) According to Moikrewni.pl, there is a cluster of Krzymianowki surnames located in Aleksandrów Kujawski, Radziejów, and Włocławek. (Gmina Piotrkow is located in Powiat Radziejów). http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/kompletny/krzymianowski.html
I have located the Parafja Piotrków Kujawski (Radziejów) films (http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/printing/titledetailsprint.asp?titleno=1170862). If this is the correct origin of my Krzymianowski ancestors, then Franciszek’s baptismal record would be in these films. I will order the baptism film that includes 1874.
Hopefully all of these hints will equal a solid lead.
Best Regards,
Al
