This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Katarzyna Gorzycka, from the Radziejów parish.
Kolonia Opatowice No. 38, 1865
This occurred in the town of Radziejów, on the 28th of April, 1865, at 3 p.m. Filip Gorzycki appeared, aged 43, a farm owner in Kolonia Opatowice, in the presence of Antoni Banaszkiewicz, aged 40, and Jan Nowakowski, aged 28, both farm owners residing in Kolonia Opatowice, and showed us a female child born in Kolonia Opatowice, on the 26th of April, 1865, at 4 a.m., to his lawful wife Marianna nee Kocińska, aged 23. At Holy Baptism, performed this day by Rev. Robert Ruszkowski, this child was given the name Katarzyna. The godparents were: Antoni Gulczyński, a blacksmith in Pruchnowo, and Julianna Szałwińska, a farm owner in Kolonia Opatowice. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
