Marriage of Jan Krzymianowski and Franciszka Szczepankiewicz (1900)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Russian language marriage record of Jan Krzymianowski and Franciszka Szczepankiewicz, from the Połajewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Stare Połajewo No. 5, 1900
This happened in Połajewo, on the 1st/13th of February, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of Wawrzyniec Kotłowski, aged 58, an estate owner (pastor of the church), and Wincenty Krzymianowski, aged 29, a shoemaker, both are residents of the village of Stare Połajewo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Jan Krzymianowski, aged 33, a widower, a laborer residing in the village of Przewóz, in the military reserve?, son of the late Michał and his widow Jadwiga Krzymianowski nee Kicińska (she was the wife of a miller), born in the village of Trojaczek in the Piotrków parish (he was previously married to Bronisława Krzymianowska, who died in the village of Przewóz, on the 27th of December, 1899/8th of January, 1900),
and Franciszka Szczepankiewicz, aged 26, single, resident of the village of Stare Połajewo, daughter of the late Tomasz and his widow Katarzyna Szczepankiewicz nee Sobierajska (she was the wife of an estate owner), born in the village of Marianowo.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Połajewo parish church, on the 16th/28th of January, the 23rd of January/4th of February, and the 30th of January/11th of February, 1900, at 11 a.m. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds and no impediments arose. This marriage was performed this day, by Rev. Józef Kurczyk, the parish Vicar. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Wawrzyniec Kotłowski, Pastor of the Połajewo Parish and Civil Registrar.
Best Regards,
