Baptism of Teresa and Józefa Skonieczna (1830)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Teresa and Józefa Skonieczna, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo No. 24 1830

This occurred in the village of Straszewo on the 2nd of May, 1830, at 12 p.m. Franciszek Skonieczny, catholic, age 50, a day-laborer, resident of the village of Zakrzewo, appeared in the presence of Andrzej Domański, age 24, and Antoni Wawrzeniak, age 40, both farmers residing in Zakrzewo, and showed us female children born in home number 10, in the village of Zakrzewo, on the 1st of May, 1830, at 5 a.m., to his wife Katarzyna Brożek, age 40. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, the children were given the names Teresa and Józefa, and the godparents were: Andrzej Domański and Katarzyna Cieślak. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
