Baptism of Mateusz Jędrzejczak (1849)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Mateusz Jędrzejczak, from the Siniarzewo parish.

Gosławice No. 24 1849

This occurred in the village of Siniarzewo on the 2nd of September, 1849, at 5 p.m. Paweł Jędrzejczak appeared, tenant farmer and resident of Gosławice, age 35, in the presence of Mateusz Borowidski, barkeeper, age 35, and Tomasz Smokowski, tenant farmer, age 32, both residents of the village of Gosławice, and showed us a male child born in the village of Gosławice on the 1st of September, 1849, at 12 p.m. to his wife Teresa nee Skonieczna, age 20. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Mateusz, and the godparents were: Mateusz Borowidski and Józefa Smokowska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
