This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Walenty Nowak, from the Straszewo parish.
Zakrzewo No. 47 1868
This occurred in the village of Straszewo on the 30th of January, 1868, at 11 a.m. Mateusz Nowak, laborer, resident of the village of Zakrzewo, age 28, appeared in the presence of Jakób Cieslakiewicz, age 28, and Jan Krzyzaniak, age 36, residents of the village of Zakrzewo, and showed us a male child, stating that it was born in the village of Zakrzewo on the 28th of January 1868, to his wife Maryanna nee Pankowska, age 20. At Holy Baptism, performed this day by Rev. Jakób Kolęda, this child was given the name Walenty, and the godparents were: Jakób Cieslakiewicz and Maryanna Nowak from the village of Zakrzewo.
