Military Monday – Peter P. Kobs WWI Draft Registration
Hello,
I’d like to continue my participation in the Geneabloggers daily prompt for Monday, called “Military Monday“. I am posting the WWI Draft Registration card of my great-great grandfather Frank F. Kobs’ brother Peter (my 2nd great grand uncle).
He registered on September 12th, 1918 at the Milwaukee County Registration Office #12, which was located at 143 Lincoln Avenue. He was age 36 years old, during his registration. Peter listed his birth date as June 27, 1882. Peter lived with his wife, Nettie Kobs, and children, at 1070 Grove Street, on Milwaukee’s south side. He listed his wife as his nearest relative. Peter listed his occupation as an “Assembler”, working at Inter Hauester, in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
